During the 1960s, Michael Apted directed episodes of shows like "Parkin's Patch", "Coronation Street", "ITV Playhouse" and the infamous (and underrated) "Big Breadwinner Hog". His most recent directing credits are for a 2017 film called "Unlocked" and a 2017 episode of "Bloodline".
Is he the only 1960s TV director still working?
Note: IMDb is very incomplete when it comes to 1960s TV directing credits, it's very possible he directed more than is listed.

Er, Spielberg? Wm Friedkin? (goes back to the '50s in Chicago) Spielberg's earliest TV credit is from 1970 according to IMDb (he does have 1960s directing credits, but these are short films and a single feature film). William Friedkin is a cool example though. Thanks for bringing it up.
