The Lateness Of The Hour. One of six episodes to be filmed on video tape. What a bad decision! Story is ok but the soap opera feel ruins it. IMPO - I actually don't mind the filming of these particular episodes because the storylines were very solid to begin with and I'm used to the way these look now . Perhaps at that time they were going for a certain look for these particular episode storylines ( just a wild guess here of course ) . " The Fever " is on after this one .

It was cheaper to film with video than 35mm film. But it was harder to edit so they had to tape on a studio stage with multiple cameras cutting back and forth. They never went back filming this way after these were shot and in the end didn’t save money.

A money saving idea that totally did not work out in their favor . Perhaps it would have made more sense if they were doing this for a certain look of the show and money wasn't an issue but I guess budget was paramount at that time . Thanks gbone for this TZ info .

Why couldn't they play The Bewitchin’ Pool at midnight when everyone is going to be looking at fireworks instead? Well, at least watch the episode in honor of the late June Foray, whose dubbing work in the episode made it, uh, memorable.

I agree those cakes in " The Bewitchin Pool " looked awesome . Also I didn't mind Aunt T only because she was way nicer and more caring than Sport and Jeb's very own ungrateful parents .

Next up now " Hocus-Pocus and Frisby " this guy was a riot the King of the tall tales he was to his own but to the off-worlders he was a genius . “My pleasure is to punch you right in the jaw.” Also use his harmonica on the off-worlders as " an instrument that let's out a death sound " too . The next one now is Stopover in a Quiet Town . " Reveille old tiger ( GROAN ) - I knew you were swacked but not that swacked ! " This shows dialog never gets old . Also nothing worse than getting stuck in a strange little town is with the only clothing you are wearing is a party dress and high heels .
