Batman v Superman was about as dark as Spider-Man Homecoming. The only real difference is that Homecoming wasn't written or directed by retards. I advise you to read "Trolling for Dummies" it will vastly improve your skills and impact.

TDK was clearly darker and more pessimistic. JL had a clear message of estranged characters being able to reconcile differences to fight for a common good, and to build up something new (The JL) to compensate for the tragic loss of a hero. The characters had arcs, and sacrifice had meaning. TDK was more dystopian as it showed the corruption and fall of a hero, and the heroes having to lie and take the blame so to cover the awful truth up. The Joker clearly won, they just wanted nobody to know to prevent the negative repercussions.

I finally—finally!—got around to seeing Batman v Superman just last night after a year of hearing it was the worst thing ever made. And… Well, um, how do I put this? I was blown away. In a good way. This is a remarkably good movie. … Did you watch the R-rated extended cut? Because that version apparently made a lot of improvenements when compared to the original version. Great question and one to which, in all honesty, I don’t know the answer. I don’t believe so, as I didn’t see anything on the disk jacket, but it’s a friend’s copy of the movie, and I don’t have it in front of me. I would be interested in seeing the “extended version,” though.
