I put together these videos recently, I hope someone enjoys them. I admit my choice of shows is unusual.
Later I might do one for 1960s ITV sitcoms assuming I don't get copyright strikes for the two above videos.

Here's 9 more! Again, some well-known series and some obscure ones (although just because a show is obscure, doesn't mean it's bad). All of these series are available on DVD.

Some interesting ones there - rising damp of course is a classic. I remember the Rag Trade, though I personally preferred it's earlier. 60 s incarnation. And Backs to the Land was iTv's go at making a wartime sitcom, obviously hoping to attract the Dad's Army fans. I vaguely remember The Lovers but don't think it made much impression on me, likewise The Cuckoo waltz.

Re: "Backs to the Land", I think it is one of the few series by Anglia Television to be on DVD. There are several others, but not many. As far as the "smaller" ITV companies go, Southern Television seems to be the best represented on DVD (it helps that Southern's archive is now owned by Renown Pictures, a company that that seems happy to release almost anything old on DVD.....I admire a company like that).
I know Anglia produced relatively few series, but there are some shows by them not on DVD which could use a DVD release. The soap opera "Weavers Green" (1966) for example, as it is one of the very few 1960s soaps for which every episode still exists.
