One of my favourites is "Match Game 7x".
What are some of your favourites?

The "Afterschool" and "Schoolbreak" specials that were shown periodically in the 1970s.

Crown Court - it was one of the first daytime tv shows in the Uk filmed entirely in the courtroom, it was shown over three days in half hour episodes. The jury were drawn from the audience and the gimmick of the show was that they actually got to decide the verdict like a real life jury, though their debate was not shown - no twelve angry people.

I loved Match Game in the 70s.
Has anyone seen the new Match Game with Alec Baldwin? It's really great. It looks exactly the same, same music, same logo, same interior, same props down to the long, slim microphone held by the host. They really captured the silly, playful spirit of the show.

Watched that for the first time last week, which is what inspired me to post this thread. Watched six episodes so far and look forward to watching more.

Richard Kimble Several years ago I watched a bunch of episodes of "Split Second" on YouTube and enjoyed them....it's a shame most episodes are lost.

I always liked The Newlywed Game and The Dating Game. They always seemed to push the "naughty" envelope of the time on TV.

Without Richard Dawson, it's just not Match Game.

The original Jeopardy, hosted by Art Fleming (the version featured in "Weird Al"'s delightful parody, "I Lost on Jeopardy"). As an example of how truly old it is, the dollar amounts for the answers in the first half ranged from $10 to $50, and in Double Jeopardy, from $20 to $100. Also, no one could be champion beyond the fifth appearance: any five-time champions had to retire, undefeated...until the Tournament of Champions. Wow, that really takes me back, reminiscing that way...too bad the rest of me couldn't join my memory!
