I recently watched Children of Men again and it was just as good, maybe even better, than the first time I watched it. It's one of the most realistic dystopias I've seen and it's just a terrific movie. Cuarón directed other great movies, such as Gravity and Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban, but I consider this his best work to date. The single-shot sequences are just incredible. The car scene is one of the most suspenseful and beautifully shot scenes I've ever seen and the ceasefire is one of the most touching moments in movie history.
What is your opinion?

One of my top 10 favorites.

I didn't like the movie the first time I saw it. When I watched it years later though when I was older I liked it a lot and I've come to see it as one of the greats. It really paints a terrifying picture of what that kind of world could really be like. Clive Owen, as always, is fantastic in the role.

It combined two of my favorite fields of inquiry. Science Fiction and post apocalyptic visions. 10/10

My problem with the movie is that they created this realistic dystopia with great characters, then it just stopped. It didn't end, it stopped.

It was boring, so I couldn't watch it fully.

An excellent film imho with, as others have noted, outstanding cinematography. Even Michael Caine makes an effort.
