- "It looks like Paige may not be able to get cleared in time to compete in the first-ever Women’s Royal Rumble match this month.
As previously noted, Paige suffered an injury during a match against Sasha Banks two weeks ago, when she was kicked in the face. While there is still a chance she could be clear, her head injury is said to be worse than the original prognostics."
Considering it's a Rumble match though and she could be easily protected in the match by coming out #30 and do little damage to herself I'd be shocked if she wasn't cleared to wrestle in it. That is of course she's not booked to win it then they could just keep her out of it.

It's hard to tell a lot of times in wrestling unless it's blatantly obvious on who screwed up or if it was just a random incident that a guy/girl takes a bump 1000 times but this time the body didn't support you. Sasha can be pretty wreckless at times but it's mostly in regards to her own body and the way she sells moves. I see her land on her head so much I'm scared she'd gonna break her neck sometime. I imagine she'll have the worst looking elimination in the Rumble. By worst I mean it'll look like it hurts the most because she'll throw her body around pretty hard. Also I wouldn't take this report as her being confirmed to be out. Like I said, they could easily protect her in a Rumble match if they so chose. |

That would almost be about as bad as if Stephanie McMahon entered the match and won it! |

Also I wasn't necessarily relying on her group to "protect" her. I was more going with they could protect her by having her come in at #30 or something so she's not in the match all that long. Or do something where she's laying on the outside of the ring after falling through the bottom rope and is forgotten until 1 woman is left and she slides in and shockingly eliminates her. There are ways to work around an injury in a Rumble match is what I'm saying. If they feel this is going to be a long term injury issue then no, don't risk it. It all depends on what the injury itself actually is and how much risk she'd be in. If it's a concussion then no don't risk it. |

While I hate that her in ring career is over. Not entirely sure it's Sasha's fault. But blame her if it makes you feel better. For all we know Paige wasn't in the right position when taking the move, could have been her own fault.
