Is there something less necessary than making the protagonist narrate their life? How about making the protagonist narrate her father's life, even though he won't even appear in the movie because he's dead (his successful career is relevant to the plot, but everything about him is explained later anyway)? That's how HOME AGAIN spends its first 3 minutes. The next 10 minutes (present day) are even worse. I was able to predict almost every line. Then, everything changes with a scene where a lot of the main characters enter a living room one at a time. It feels like the story is going to be a farce. Unfortunately, scenes like that (which are funny) only happen a few times. The rest is as generic as the beginning, but I was never bored thanks to the likeable characters. 3/10 ------------------------------------- You can read comments of other movies in my blog (in English, in Spanish or in Italian).

No thread about Reese Witherspoon being a has-been? I'm shocked.
