This is a rather interesting commentary on life, love, and religion starring what was the comedy team of Peter Cook and Dudley Moore. Satan offers a poor lovesick fellow, Stanley Moon, three wishes in turn for his soul. But then somehow that devil always shows up in the wishes and ruins the guy's chances of romantic success.
Raquel Welch appears as one of the seven deadly sins, Lillian Lust, in a standout scene.

A fun movie. So much funnier and subversive than the later remake with Brendan Fraser.

One of my favorite comedies. A great look at London in the Swinging 60s, too.

One of my favorite comedies. A great look at London in the Swinging 60s, too. Most definitely. This should be better known and watched.
