Is that the most tender scene in Bond history? The scene where we see that he has a heart?

Probably so.
There's a reason why CASINO ROYALE (and the Craig era of the franchise in general) has proven surprisingly popular with female audiences -- and it's certainly not because of Craig's blindingly handsome good looks. (He's the least "movie star handsome" of the Bond actors.)
It's because Bond became more human, especially in the way he interacts with women.
Previously, my long-suffering wife merely tolerated my life-long Bond fandom, finding the films "okay"/"meh" at best, and "silly" at worst.
The Craig era marks the first time she has been genuinely enthusiastic about seeing Bond movies. She really, really enjoyed CR, SKYFALL and SPECTRE (QOS not so much... mainly due to the "flash-cut" editing).
