Best? Certainly Schindler's List. My favorite? Braveheart. Silence of the Lambs deserves notice for giving hope to genre film-makers around the world. "Yes, we can!"

Braveheart (1995) - 10/10 2.Forrest Gump (1994) - 8/10 the rest... are nothing special (i.e. 6-6.5/10 at best). ---------------------------------------------------------------------- politicidal to me it makes no sense to try to claim those (i.e. best vs favorite) are different things since at the end of the day personal enjoyment is paramount. so in other words... Braveheart is your vote (or should be given what you said).

While some of the others are good, they all sort of strike me as "typical Hollywood."
