Well, on the up side, at least Kryptonian architecture doesn't appear to be predominantly structures formed by randomly strewn crystal spires...
On the other hand, it does kind of give off the feeling of hewing too close to Earth; which I'm not sure about. The trailer also seems to be trying super hard, so to speak, at being cool and edgy; which seldom works out well. I'm also never keen when a story is too acutely aware of its own destiny. That essentially became one of Smallville's problems, when Clark's future as Superman became something the characters consciously knew was on the horizon; and even going so far as to suggest that, that was the reason Jor-El even sent him to Earth in the first place. I'm not a big fan of plot driven stories, where character behavior is predetermined not by what would come natural to them based on their personality and circumstances, but by how the story is intended to play out. I would rather not have characters influenced by knowledge about what's going to happen to them or their descendants; especially not so early on as to build it into the premise of the series.
