I just reread it, thanks. Yeah, that is interesting. I wouldn't be surprised if this continues with Poe. I wonder how Finn would react? I also wonder why they allowed Rose to kiss Finn? Maybe it's just a "game" that Rey plays. Yeah I wonder the same things. If you're going to believe what Ridley said in this statement, then it would seem that all of it is a bunch of "game playing". But then again as Jedan Archer implied, it could just be a bunch of half clueless rambling from Daisy. Another severely botched attempt to address Kennedy and Abrams agendas with her character. I'm convinced Daisy isn't interested in romance, but I'm not sure how Kennedy and Abrams will handle it in IX. Maybe they'll need to use it just to keep the Skywalker line going. It goes against their message that anyone can be a Jedi, but I think fans will care less overall if that line is wiped out.

Daisy is probably just throwing out a red herring. I know Ep.9 isn’t written yet, but the conclusion to the trilogy has been planned. I’m thinking Reylo happens and she knows it.

If Rey happens, I bet the new books/comics will explore their relationship. Possibly even Parenthood.

The main story about SW was that it was a divided family on the sides of good & evil. Now we have a cheesy teased romance that will (probably) end in a death with r lovers/friends in shades of grey.
What has my beloved saga become?

What has my beloved saga become? The cinema fodder continuation of these series:- The Twilight Series (2008 - 2012) The Hunger Games Series (2012 - 2015) Star Wars Sequel "trilogy" (2015 - 2019) This is exactly what Star Wars has become - the Kylo Ren & Rey characters exemplify this precisely.
