My pick here is any time Jason Statham tries to do an American accent. Don't even bother, bro, it just takes the viewer out of the movie.

Elijah Wood's attempt at an accent in the LOTR trilogy. His performance was a big let-down and I think half the problem was the bad accent.

The ABSOLUTE WORST and FAKEST-sounding accent I've EVER heard was by Fritz Weaver on an episode of 'Murder, She Wrote' playing a French police detective. ABSOLUTELY HORRENDOUS.

I third Reeves in Dracula.
Quentin Tarantino's Aussie accent in Django Unchained. "SHUT UP, BLECK."
Whatever accent Jon Voight was doing in Anaconda.

My pick here is any time Jason Statham tries to do an American accent. Don't even bother, bro, it just takes the viewer out of the movie. I think he aims for the mid-Atlantic rather than a full American

Not sure if it’s the worst, but Imogen Poots’ accent in She's Funny That Way (2014) was atrocious.

Keanu for the win!
Although Kevin Costner's accent in Robin Hood Prince of Thieves is pretty bad (when he attempts one).
I think Sean Connery's effort at an American accent in Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade isn't very convincing.
That's one of the things with Robert Shaw in Jaws also--is he portraying an American? I assume so, but I guess he just didn't bother to try.
Some American actors I can accept in a European history film without thinking: hey, they have a US accent!
Vincent Price, Orson Welles, Burgess Meredith...
But some others I find it distracting.

Richard Gere's Irish accent in The Jackal was really distracting.
I've never seen that Dracula move but everything I have seen of it makes me laugh at Keanu. That accent is damn near impossible to beat but Gere's in Jackal was also bad. It was like a caricature.
