1. The Mary Tyler Moore Show 2. Columbo 3. Charlie's Angels 4. The Twilight Zone 5. The Golden Girls 6. The Love Boat 7. Square Pegs 8. Starsky and Hutch 9. I Love Lucy 10. Barnaby Jones/ Dynasty (tie)
From what I have seen of SCTV, it is absolutely hilarious. I just need to see more of it. And speaking of that, Absolutely Fabulous definitely would come close to making the cut, ditto Sanford and Son. In fact, S&S would have made my top ten, except that the writers changed after Season 3, and the suffered. Then, Redd Foxx went on strike and for season 5 the producers decided to replace Fred with Grady, who is just appallingly unfunny. He makes me teeth hurt. Just about the worst sitcom character ever. And Fred was close to the best.
"The Honeymooners" is a favorite, too.

Frontline
Homicide: Life on the Street
THUMBS-UP for 'Frontline' and 'Homicide: Life on the Street'. Are you Australian? Do you remember Frontline? The most cutting and hilarious expose of current affairs programs. It used actual scandalous activities of real current affairs programs in some of its stories. There were several well produced US cop shows around 1990-2000. Some people would say The Wire was the pinnacle. The Shield, NYPD Blue, Hill Street Blues were all up there.

Frontline US TV program I meant the Australian sitcom zbout a current affairs show. en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Frontline_(Australian_TV_series)I have seen some excellent Frontline documentaries, and some disturbing ones, that promulgate an Americocentric world view, seductive due to the high production values but nowhere near the universal truths it seems to want to portray.

I've mostly watched new shows so far and I don't watch as many TV shows as movies, but my top 10 (not ranked) would be something like this:
Game of Thrones Breaking Bad The Expanse The IT Crowd The Last Kingdom 12 Monkeys Fargo The Office (US) Avatar: The Last Airbender Outlander
HM: Westworld, Stranger Things, Mr. Bean, Friends, The End of the F***ing World (since it's only 1 season so far)
