Fargo - This is the number one show I recommend to people... not just because it's great but because it doesn't get the pub it deserves.

Mindhunter. The first two episodes might turn people away from watching it, but it gets a hell of a lot better.

If you ever find an older show (although not that old) called "Picket Fences".....it's excellent.

I find it tough to go back and watch even truly great shows that are dated (the wire for example) and I generally avoid network shows but if it's truly your number one recommended show you should write a review.

Mindhunter. The first two episodes might turn people away from watching it, but it gets a hell of a lot better. Loved the lead actor. Found some of the supporting actors and writing a bit shaky. Liked the subject matter. Would recommend but only for a specific audience.

I'm sorry Shole, I've always found it very difficult to write reviews. Although I love writing, it's hard for me to condense many seasons of a show into a few paragraphs. I will say this though. As you go through life watching television, you will notice that basically there are 2 things that make a great show...to the viewer that is... a good story, and a great chemistry between the cast members...the latter, to me, being more important. "Picket Fences" had both. Granted, not every single episode's story will be 100% to your liking, but the "quirkiness" of the show and the chemistry of the cast is what makes it great. I'm 64 years old and have seen many, many, T.V. shows and movies, and maybe one or two handfuls stand out as being above par. In the beginning, I too was reluctant to give it a try but thankfully I came across this one (I can't mention here how) and I'm very thankful I did. My wife and I finished watching it about 2 years ago.....and I'm still talking about it. Naturally, "IMDb" will give you more of a synopsis of the show...but, I'll end with this....If you like "different", then this is for you....and as a bonus, I'll give you another one...."Northern Exposure"...you'll be surprised.

Picket Fences & Northern Exposure definitely fall under the same category. They were quirky before their time. And I think they hold up-mainly because of where they take place.

Top notch acting and writing, fantastically atmospheric sets. Ended too soon, and never get the publicity it should have. Eva Green deserved an acting award for her performance in it.

At the moment it would be Cobra Kai.
Other than that, I don't really make recommendations. Because the best shows should be watched without needing to be recommended.

Ray Walston.
I would pay good money just to listen to him reading out a shopping list.

You are 100% correct Sir. The Jewish lawyer was awesome too.

The Avengers (1961-1969), especially the Emma Peel years (1965-1967). It’s a marvel and a masterpiece.
Favorite episodes:
“Too Many Christmas Trees” “Death at Bargain Prices” “The Town of No Return” “Castle De’ath” “A Touch of Brimstone” “Honey for the Prince” “Epic” “Who’s Who?” “Death’s Door”
