Accidently or on Purpose? For What reason? What happened? Yours, Someone else's or a rental?

One time a rented Vhs accidently flew out of my friends hands and onto the street where the person dropping him off backed over it with the tires as they backed out of the driveway.
Also Has anyone ever accidently recorded over something Important on their Vhs tapes?

Homemade VHS tapes and DVDs have accidentally destroyed themselves.
I have stepped on and crushed a few homemade VHS tapes

Also Has anyone ever accidently recorded over something Important on their Vhs tapes? Yes. I accidentally recorded over some old TV shows that have never been aired again released on DVD or Blu Ray and old footage of myself singing in my old High School assembly hall.

Awww he was my favorite Pokémon. Mr Mime? Yeah. He is a good one. Have you played Pokemon Sun and Moon yet? If not you can now get Ultra editions of the games on Nintendo 3DS and there are now 802 Pokemon and they are working on the next set of games that are going to add more and will most likely bring the number up passed 900. I never expected they would create this many back when I first got Pokemon Blue but I think it is going to continue and they will have over 1000 in the next decade.

I have destroyed a few DVDs/Blu-Rays on purpose (movies I'd bought that I thought I'd like, but ended up hating instead). They're surprisingly difficult to break in two, but they burn very well.

Can't recall. For the most part, I always keep my VHSs/DVDs/Blu-rays safe in my home.

Sigh, I think an accident ruined a 1981 VHS I used to watch as a child. The contents: ABC's SUPERFRIENDS, FONZ AND THE HAPPY DAYS GANG, THE SCOOBY DOO-RICHIE RICH SHOW- interrupted by a record-over of MTV videos of Hall-Oates "Family Man", Bowie-Mercury "Under Pressure", ABC "The Look of Love", Culture Club "Do you Really want to hurt me?" (actually a TOP OF THE POPS performance)- HEATHCLIFF/DINGBAT AND THE CREEPS, THE PLASTIC MAN AND BABY PLAS SHOW, then CBS DRAK PACK and JASON OF STAR COMMAND, back to ABC with TV's THE ADVENTURES OF SUPERMAN (the pilot) and BATMAN (part 2 of a Penguin episode). I miss that recording.
Bunch of VHS chewed up by a VCR. Loose DVDs scratched in the case.

...I once cracked a copy of "Masque of the Red Death" with Vincent Price attempting to get the thing out of the package. I ran out and bought another copy. It is one of my favorite Edgar Allen Poe film adaptations...

I once damaged a music CD I bought online before I had a chance to listen to it.
As I was holding it and bringing it up to place in the CD tray, I must’ve accidentally whacked the top surface against the sharp metal corner of the tray, making a dent in it, thus damaging it. So fucking pissed off at myself for it, so I immediately ordered another one online.

Most recently my copy of Tammy went kaput (wouldn't play on anything) so I cut up the disc to use in an art project.

Several DVDs and Video Games have been completely annihilated by the "mighty" hands of, well myself. Often in a raging inferno of sheer frustation and anger, so yeah it happens from time to time. Some films are so bad and evil that they must be destroyed.
