Charlize Theron - she could start off as a heroine and then, at a critical moment, reveal her true (evil) colors. Miriam Margolyes - a sweet little grandmotherly type, seemingly warm and nurturing, who turns out to be hard as diamonds and cold as the Arctic. Alfre Woodard - no special reason--other than that I love her voice, and I bet she'd make a great villain. Daniel Radcliffe - after all those HP movies playing a reluctant hero, wouldn't he jump at the chance to play a nasty guy? George Takei - I'd love to see him as an older version of the evil Sulu in "Mirror, Mirror" in ST: TOS. Sean Connery - 'nuff said.

Marion Cotillard (She is the closest in appearance to the classic Hollywood femme fatales of old)
Idris Elba (imagine him as an African dictator or a terrorist)
Nikolaj Coster-Waldau (cast him as the anti-Bond or something in the mold of Sean Bean or Toby Stephens' characters)
Donnie Yen (permit some great action and fight scenes)
Alon Abutbul (London has Fallen was basically a shelved Bond movie script)

Sofia Boutella. Grant did play against type a few times, though: Suspicion, Notorious, and Charade come to mind. Now, you may very well object that in Suspicion and Charade he was revealed not to be the villain at the end, but the point is that he seemed and played the role villainously for nearly the whole movie in the first case and for a good half of it in the second. In Notorious, he was the romantic lead—but, pointedly, remarkably and uncharacteristically unsympathetic. Actually, Only Angels Have Wings shows his range as well. But, on the whole, I’m rather fond of the persona or “type” he created, and I’m happy that he got to showcase it in so many movies.

Noomi Rapace as the main villain. With Antje Traue as her henchwoman.

It’s an excellent characterization—the closest to the books that I know, and he ranks as my third-favorite Bond after Connery and Dalton.

He gets such a bad rap. No foolin’ at that. The Doctor No adaptation was superb. I really wish Dalton had gotten more chances—if he had had some of the later Moores and the earlier Brosnans. I think he’s an excellent Bond.
