I like all sorts. Comedy, action, adventure, romance, thriller, drama, black comedy, comedy horror. I'm looking for new films to watch. Anyone have some to recommend to me?

sugarbiscuitsI haven’t seen many of @snakeeyes43’s choices, but let me second The Count of Monte Cristo (’02), one of the best, if not the most faithful, Dumas adaptations. I tend to like older, black-and-white movies, but I’ll hold off on recommending many of those until you say if you like them (or not)… Some more recent movies, let’s see… Deathtrap (1982) The Company of Wolves (1984) The Mosquito Coast (1986) The Rocketeer (1991) Much Ado About Nothing (1993) Congo (1995) The Edge (1997) Tower of Terror (1997) The Spanish Prisoner (1997) Sky Captain and the World of Tomorrow (2004) A Prairie Home Companion (2006) A Walk in the Woods (2015) Allied (2016)

Watch Love Exposure (2008) www.imdb.com/title/tt1128075/it belongs to all the categories: comedy action romance thriller drama kung fu movie soap opera religious movie at the same time! Some explicit content, but what a surprising sweet delicacy! Another gem worth visiting is Victoria (2015) (not 2016) www.imdb.com/title/tt4226388/categories: action romance thriller drama slow at the beginning, but very unique build-up until it reaches levels of intensity and immersion rarely seen elsewhere and if You never saw Le fabuleux destin d'Amélie Poulain (2001) www.imdb.com/title/tt0211915/categories: comedy romance it's time to finally catch up

In the comedy-horror department, if you haven't seen it already, I'd recommend "Shock 'em Dead" from 1991.

Hard to do without knowing what you've already seen.

Those IMDb lists are very useful. They stick to a genre too (eg Top 10 film noir movies, etc...)
