Not to be pedantic (which I know I am being), but, while pique is correct, you’re should be your and which can be that. Sorry—the editor-side of me is kicking in. OK, unsolved murders… We’ve talked about a few of these before, but so be it. Glen B. DenneyOK, those are several to start with… Oh, and I’ve got to mention this one—it’s not a murder, and it’s been solved, but, dear God, it’s just like something out of a book, complete with a brilliant private eye who outwitted the police. Unbelievable.

Thanks for bringing it to our attention. On the “unsolved mysteries” thread, mecano04 told us about another Canadian unsolved mystery, the Reine Lauzière-Pagé case, which also read like something out of a book (as did “ The Case of the Vanishing Blonde” to which I linked before—oh, and the Chris Case mystery! That one was wild).

I heard about the Shermans case update this morning or yesterday.
It's the big story right now. It went from murder-suicde to double murder now. There is still too much unknown at this point to really speculate on what went down and the motives.

I have always been a bit fascinated with people who just disappear without a trace. Like the story of Dorothy Arnold from 1910. Who was a socialite from Manhatten. She went to buy a book and just vanished never to bee seen again.

The Bradford Bishop case (1976) – there's little doubt as to who committed the murders but he vanished. However, years later a coworker is certain he saw him in Europe; same with a former neighbor. Bishop remains on the FBI's most wanted list.

In the bible it talks of how a person is possesed by legions.. thats thousands. Uhm...what does that have to do with unsolved murderers?

Bishop remains on the FBI's most wanted list. Another murder case, where there is absolutely little doubt as to who the perpetrator was, is the 1983 murder of 9-year-old Sharin' Morningstar Keenan, who's body was found stuffed in a refrigerator. The Toronto police know exactly who they are looking for, but, for decades have come up with nothing. There were a few times where some leads came up, but, they turned out to be herrings.
