Anyone round here seen this obscure thriller (with a slasher mentality) that was possibly made for cable? As far as I'm aware it's never been released on disc and exists only in a long out of print VHS. There's an interesting cast, with Andrew Stevens from MASSACRE AT CENTRAL HIGH and THE FURY alongside Amanda Wyss who was Freddy Kruger's first ever victim back in the original ELM ST from '84. Best of all however is Mary Crosby in a deliriously nutty performance as an escaped schizophrenic with a psychotic dominant personality. Crosby here is a lot more than just "the girl who shot JR" as she clubs, shoots and slashes the throats of numerous victims - all while in the persona of her sly, seductive alter ego. This is nothing more than a fun romp with a body count, energised by a sexy turn from Crosby who gleefully chews the scenery. I was fortunate enough to have recorded this onto VHS from a TV airing around 1991 and have since transferred it to disc and on into an MP4 file. Nobody I know personally has seen DEADLY INNOCENTS and I have no idea when it was last shown on TV as I have never seen it listed here in the UK since the time I first saw it. So, any of you fellow Horror boarders seen and enjoyed........or not enjoyed this?
