that sounds like click bait to me. Idk, Superman had his DCEU arc: 1) Started off a moper who didn't appreciate the stuff he could do. 2) Moped around some more, nearly threw in the towel until he was blackmailed into fighting a guy because he was too incompetent to find one woman. Died for his incompetence. 3) Came back a lunatic whose lust overcame his bloodthirstiness and now going to try and be a hero without earning it. Snyder...

They could mix things up a little, have the villain be Morgan Edge who Lois or Clark or even Lois & Clark investigate to start with but their investigations lead to Edge trying to take them out, this maybe results in Lois getting hurt which is when Clark don's the suit and makes it clear Edge now has Superman to worry about, Superman stops a bunch of Edge's goons so Edge has a solution devised, Metalo.
Basically take the plot of one of the 90's Superman cartoons and expand upon it, it's not that fucking difficult really.

Agreed, I would add Metallo though. Brainiac would be perfect fo the 3rd film. The bigger issue is that Superman doesn't really have a great Rogues Gallery. There's Luthor and Brainiac, and then Zod became more popular after Superman II. But that's really it. Doomsday is just a mindless monster (and we're never going to find out what happened to his body after BvS), no one would take Toyman or Prankster seriously, Metallo is a minion more than a villain unto himself. Who else is there? I disagree. Superman's Rogues Gallery is just as big as Batman's and Supergirl's Rogues Gallery is pretty big too but the problem is a lot of them have never been used on screen outside of 'Smallville.' There are a lot of villains that would be perfect for Superman movie villains such as Braniac, Atomic Skull, The Eradicator (confirmed to be in one of the upcoming animated movies), Parasite, Lobo, Imperiex, Bizarro, Maxima, Bloodsport, Cyborg Superman, Prankster and Gog (the second villain to kill Superman who is a God) and it is about time they actually use some of them. I get that they were blocked from using Braniac in 'Superman 3' and 'Superman Lives' didn't go through (which was supposed to have Braniac) but Braniac is one of DC's best villains that hasn't been used in a movie and James Marsters played an awesome version of him in 'Smallville.'

thanks to the change in management under Hamada. Also Nightwing is added to the upcoming schedule for the DCEU as well: Revenge of the Fans‘s EIC Mario Robles revealed in a new article what he’s heard is DC’s new slate. The slate consists of no-brainers Aquaman, Shazam!, and Wonder Woman 2, but also holds Suicide Squad 2, Flashpoint, and The Batman. Robles says this isn’t necessarily the order they will hit theaters though. He also added that Man of Steel 2 and Nightwing are part of their plans
screenrant.com/dc-films-movie-slate-man-steel-2-nightwing/Man of Rehash will NEVER get a sequel and that was proven last year when "Man of Rehash 2" was "postponed indefinitely" (which is film studio speak for CANCELLED, just like how "The Amazing Spider-Man 3" was "postponed indefinitely") You fanboys pulling "rumors" out of your butts to say otherwise won't make it true. I suppose next you'll be telling us the latest "rumor" is that Ben Affleck is back on board to write and direct "The Batman" and its projected to gross $3 billion dollars.

I don't think they should do something like that. The unfortunate thing about Superman is that despite his good line up of villains and that he's had 7 live action movies, all they've ever done is have Lex Luthor and Zod multiple times and Doomsday. It doesn't have to be Brainiac but there's that many prominent villians they've never used they shouldn't waste a movie on a nobody. Metallo would also be a good choice. Well, Conduit had a big storyline and was in the comics for a little while in the mid 90s. He was basically the prototype for Batman's Hush character. He's not a complete nobody, and he had the interesting dynamic in that he hated Clark first and didn't care about Superman until he found out they were the same guy. And Zod was actually a lesser known character before Superman II, so there's precedent for making a lesser character bigger. Never read anything with him, but he sounds really interesting.

He was kind of a re-conceptualization of the Kryptonite Man villain. He was a human born in Smallville the same day Superman's ship landed. The Kryptonite radiation affected him as a baby to the point he could give off Kryptonite radiation from himself, a living Kryptonite battery basically. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Conduit_(comics)He WAS in Man of Steel.

'Smallville' and 'Lois and Clark: The New Adventures of Superman' showed it could be done and the latter didn't even have access to a lot of Superman's villains 'cause Warner Bros blocked the show runners from using them which lead to them creating different versions like Lord Nor instead of General Zod but they had a very popular villain with Tempus.

I have to wonder why they made up Tempus when they could easily have made him Chronos instead.

I thought there would have been a block on using a real person like that on a fictional show but they had him appear a number of times in his time machine and him and Tempus were foes.

Heck no, you ever watch Dr Who? They have real life people (well, versions of them) show up all the time.

No. I know of ‘Doctor Who’ but I have never attempted to watch the show ‘cause I heard it has been going since the 1960s and while I have started watching some shows in the second and third season I have always got the DVDs of them if I liked them to see what I have missed and with ‘Doctor Who’ it sounds like I would be a long, LONG way behind and it wouldn’t make any sense to me and I would be wondering who all the characters were.
