Note: I only included the desktop versions (along with server versions)....I excluded things like Windows CE and such.
My favourite is Windows XP.

Catman will always have a soft spot in his heart for XP. CE was also pretty good.

Windows 7 even though that decade was ruled by XP obviously.
but one thing XP had going for it is that it was the first stable OS from Microsoft aimed at the common person as you could leave it running for days or weeks without a reboot unlike previous OS's like WinME and prior which required reboots fairly often to keep them functioning well.

Either 7 or Vista I guess. 7 was technically better but I seemed to get heaps of BSOD's on it, so I may have to go with Vista.
