I believe in both evolution and intelligent design. Long story.

No such thing as Creationism or Intelligent Design, Old Testament is just stories for naive children---and Evolution is a fact, not a theory Actually, evolution is a scientific theory. This is true. The problem is some creationists take that to mean it invalidates it from being a proven fact, e.g. “b...b...but it’s just a theory!!”

Evolution is a fact and a theory depending on the context of the word. Evolution has been proven to occur and is accepted as fact. The mechanism by which it occurs is theoretical.
Gravity is also a fact and a theory depending on the context of the word. Gravity exists and can be easily demonstrated. But the mechanism is still a theory.
Evolution doesn't address origin and there's no compelling evidence for creationism or Intelligent Design. I don't care if someone believes a higher power set the universe in motion and evolution is a part of that plan. The ones who believe the universe is 6,000 to 10,000 years old and everything was created just as it is now (Young Earth Creationism) are rejecting science.

Certainly.
Evolution: 100% proven fact!
Intelligent Design: believed in by insane morons.
Creationism: believed in by insane morons.
I know some people who reject evolution, all of whom live in America. Users I know from TV Tome and TV Rage. Some of them Christian rejecting evolution and others who are Christian but accept the theory. There were many debates on those 2 sites about god, homosexuality, abortion and other stuff.

What if evidence was put there by aliens or a higher power? Some would argue that. How would you reply to them?

I'd ask "what if Spartacus had a Piper Cub?" That's from an old SNL skit.
The "what if" game is endless.

There's nothing to debate on any of those points as far as I'm concerned.
I take your point though.

I didn't know I was making a point. It's just there were many endless debates on TV Tome and TV Rage about all sorts of stuff. Sometimes it was funny.

Fair point; about not making a point.
I'll have to check out TV Tome and TV Rage sometime.

TV Tome came to an end June 2005 and TV Rage August 2016. I found a newer site TV Maze, but it has little forum activity.

I'd reply that's not how science works. Scientists don't just throw out "what if's." They start with a hypothesis, which is an educated guess. Meaning they have evidence for making that guess. They don't just throw out random ideas.

I've been around Christians of all denominations my entire life and I don't think I've ever actually met one who doesn't, at least partially, believe the theory of evolution and I've never met one who believes the world is only 6000 years old.
The people that hold those beliefs are a tiny radical fringe group.
However, often I see people on the internet try to paint all Christians with the broad brush of holding those radical fringe beliefs. It is a sickening straw man tactic to try to marginalize an entire group of people for their beliefs.

I think that anything's possible. We don't have to be robots. Like Pinocchio.
I think people need to realize the happiness and perfection of nature, like something God would love. Animals don't want "man's red flower."
Scientifically, we're moving plants, it seems. We evolved from life or nonliving things ... or like parasitic viruses. There are other manifestations like cancer that I'm guessing is not as lifelike as viruses.

Which may or may not be true.

I wonder how they know the size of the universe, the shape and age of it. I have an interests in parallel universes, alternate timelines and realities. real life can be boring at times.
