I forgot how awesome some of the level designs were in that game. If anyone else played this game when it was new, like I did. Does it hold up playing it now though? I mean I know the graphics are dated.

I know I beat Doom 2 with a friend of mine but I can't remember anything about it. It was a long time ago though.

I played it in the old days and I did play a little of it not all that long ago and it's still decent especially considering it's age.
I first played some DooM stuff back in basically 1995 as that's when we had our first computer. I would have been 15-16 years old at that time.

I agree. And doom 2 has some great Wads for it.

Last played a few years ago and to me it's still holds up well and was still fun to play. Obviously, the 2D sprites and other graphics are dated, but everything is still easily readable.

Yes, yes it is. Those old FPS games just nailed movement. Like, it’s just such a pleasure to move around in those environments.
