His writing style and lack of punctuation took me forever to get used to. That being said, 'Blood Meridian' is absolutely fantastic.

No Country For Old Men. I love his writing style, although the lack of punctuation for speech makes reading him that more difficult. The Road was also good, and I will tackle Blood Meridian next.

His writing style and lack of punctuation took me forever to get used to. That being said, 'Blood Meridian' is absolutely fantastic. Just tried reading that. The intro by Harold Bloom was great...the sing song writing of Cormac, made it comic, not sure he was going for that.

I've only read The Road and Blood Meridian.
Definitely go with The Road.
