other than Black Sabbath and Led Zeppelin.
Was just listening to a five Rock groups that formed from late 60s to early 70s that formed some of my tastes in rock.
MANFRED MANN'S EARTH BAND MOTT THE HOOPLE BLACK OAK ARKANSAS ALICE COOPER PROCOL HARUM
That music still rocks me, and truly sent me on the road of heavy rock (as opposed to Metal Rock).
And Five Incredibly Different Music Styles

All great artists. I'm a huge fan particularly of Cooper and BOA. BOA are particularly underrated in my opinion, although of course Jim Dandy's vocals aren't going to appeal to everyone.
Anyway I like the other three a lot, too.
A couple other very underrated bands in the same vein, from the same era, that are also favorites of mine are Climax Blues Band and Atlanta Rhythm Section.

Alice Cooper is the only band on the list that I listen to. I will have to give the others a listen. I'll probably recognize their stuff when I hear it
