Do you like your fries crinkle cut like in the first pic or straight cut like in the second pic?

I like them both but I think I prefer straight. But I think my favorite are the thin cut curly ones. But I love all fries

Straight, except for Nathan's - my favorite.

Fresh-cut or natural-cut (NON-frozen). Most of these are straight. So I pick fresh-cut (natural-cut) straight fries. But I still like crinkle-cut as well.

Just found out a store 5 miles away carries Nathan's fries (frozen). Got some and made some in my new air fryer. Tasty, but need to tweak the temperature and time. I still haven't figured this think out - have burned some things using the temp/time printed in the manual.

I like them straight better. And the funny thing is I am not sure why.

Mmm, might have to go to In-N-Out tomorrow. Never use drive-thrus except for drive-up bank ATMs, which are a pain. I'll have... Double burger, no cheese, no sauce, with both kinds of onions, jalapeΓ±os (they have them!), and tomato, protein style (bed of lettuce, no bun) Fries, no salt (except what I put on myself) And I may bring garlic powder for it.

Homemade oven fries .... best are Yukon Gold OR BLUE POTATOES.
and sweet potatoes ..... Now we're talkin' 'taters !
Cut. Dry the pieces. Coat lightly with oil... just put in bowl with a dollop of oil and shake, stir. Bake until done. Time and temp vary. Salt, spices to taste, maybe some Mrs Dash type.
Mmmmmm !

nutsberryfarm πThe blue potatoes are rather odd looking and make the ugliest leftover beef stew possible (they get this grey-blue-purple look to them) BUT they make great oven fries and those are never left over !
