That means exactly what it says. but since many around here don't believe in God (i.e. The Holy Trinity (Father/Son(Jesus Christ)/Holy Spirit)) that concept goes over their head apparently. basically we are spiritual beings in a physical body/world. so human beings don't truly die as we are eternal beings. the soul animates(gives life to) the body. so obviously, when we die here on earth it's just our body as our soul/consciousness lives on and after this world you only have but two final destination be it Heaven or hell (there is purgatory also but that's only a temporary state as if you get there your guaranteed Heaven eventually. that's why i said 'final destinations' and only listed Heaven/hell). our choices/actions here on earth ultimately determine where we end up after we physically die here on earth. that's the truth. but like I always say it seems to boil down to this for many people... @winterssuicide Both of those are false. there is no reason to have sex other than to reproduce as that's it's purpose and you won't be reproducing in the afterlife. Well the Catholic church is the one Jesus Christ started. don't you think it's a good idea to follow His church and it's teachings on morals etc? it seems unwise to think you know more than His church does/teaches on what's sinful and what's not etc. trust me on this one That's a violation of God's law (i.e. it's a sin) as the 3rd commandment says, "Remember to keep holy the Sabbath day." (i.e. weekly mass) Let me assure you, that you don't need to have a belief in the Holy Spirit/Trinity/ God to have a belief and I find it arrogant of you to assume that.

I do not believe I am an intelligent start in the same way that I am describing THE intelligent start to creation. There is no beginning and no end, so therefore no start. Creation is born out of your own holistic and rational intelligence. So you assert, however I believe something different.

the god of the gaps is when I see a gap and fill it with god, what I am describing is a full unified theory that has god at the top, there is not a gap to fill, god is an inherent part of the model. How do you know there is a 'start'? Top of what? and of course the next inevitable question 'Who created or started the starter?' I am content not to know or be sure, so what makes you different? You are attacking this from the wrong angle, I am not saying I hold a truth, I am saying I have a model I use to interpret the universe around me, just as you do, my model has God™ as the inception of creation. For clarity though, Top of the diagramatic model In terms of the state of the universe there was an agreed start, the big bang, yes something existed before it, but my model is in terms of what we see as existence now who cares who started the starter, the power that created the universe is the most powerful thing I need to comprehend for the moment, if I get to the point of having tea with God™ I might ask him about his dad.

So you assert, however I believe something different. You need to believe what works best for you, but at the end of the day, if you rely on a savior, or a separate entity to do it for you, you are ultimately going to be disappointed. That is a very limiting notion and underestimates and even undermines your own power and journey. You are it! I disagree completely. At the end of the day we are talking about my grand unified theory, not my doctrine of salvation. I believe i am responsible for my own salvation.

I know others on the boards have criticised you for not being a 'Christian' in a no true Scotsman kind of way, butt it is sort of perplexing, when you actually say it like that.

I believe i am responsible for my own salvation.I am not so sure what you are disagreeing with. I said you are IT, no-one is going to do it for you, and yet you have commented you are responsible for your own salvation. Isn't that about being responsible for your own life and journey? What I think you really mean by salvation, is transcendence. This is what Christ was about. No need to complicate it with a grand unified theory, that is only ego mind based. If not, what is your notion of salvation? In the context of this conversation I am talking about a grand unified theory though.

So how can you be a Trinitarian? Because I believe that the singular unity that is the creation God™ must by it's very nature express itself in a trinity a soon as it becomes aware of itself.
