I am of the belief that GoTG2 has the worst dialogues from any MCU movie. That said, at least majority of those lines were meant to be humorous. Unlike say the Martha line which was supposed to be taken seriously or the dancing-Enchantress which wasn't supposed to be funny... the fact that they were supposed to be taken seriously made them even more cringeworthy.

That’s genuine dialogue from Guardians of the Galaxy, Tristan's Journal ? Dear God. I’ve seen bits and pieces of those movies and remain justified in my decision not to spend any time, money, or effort on seeing them. (Also still angry that Disney ripped out one of the greatest examples of themed space to make for a GotG ride.) Exactly the kind of movie (or anything), it seems, I dislike—the wink-wink nod-nod-I-am-so-clever crap. (I can’t really find any nicer word for it, though I’m sure others can supply some not-so-nice words.) I find your naturally shocked reaction rewarding. This are just some examples of the juvenile penis, turd & nipples dialogue, and it does not even begin to describe the bad character writing. I give you one scene so you get the full scope, please try to get through: Play a drinking game how many times the word "turd" is in there. Don't forget: On HERE this one is considered accepted entertaining brilliance, while BvS is genuinely pretentious and bad (like toilet paper is for monkeys). After all, reality is not so much about facts, but the intellects absorbing them. It’s not fair for me to base my opinion of a movie on one scene, but... That scene is awful—absolutely awful. A discussion on “turd”? Seriously? That passes for entertainment nowadays? Lasciate ogne speranza. We’re doomed. (Any way I can move to Antarctica? This is enough to make a fellow misanthropic.)

Quite the contrary: senseless juvenile toilet humor is not an justification for anything. It makes it worse as it does not even try. You pit "I have famously huge turds" against "You must save Martha?" Seriously? Do you even know what it is about? "Martha" was a solid idea on paper, badly executed: Two fighting heroes with different philosophies reconciling their differences because realizing their common aim and interest: To protect the ones they love. Giving Bats the opportunity to finally save Martha (which he could not as a child). Cheesy as hell, but at least they try based on character and character arc development. Now compare this to Iron Man's "I don't care, he killed my mom" or Guardians "You should not have killed my mom, or squished my Walkman" starting senseless dance off wars between friends and family. You were sayin?

Indeed a modern Divine Comedy of raccoon turd, my friend. Abandon hope all ye who enter! But you have seen it you cannot make it unseen: only thing that might help is a bit of good old Vergangenheitsbewältingung. Or maybe speech therapy with weird raptor, it's his favorite MCU film.

You might want to stay away from Dune as well, that entire series revolves around Worm Turds.

One is a generation defining experience coining the Golden Age of TV, the other one is, well...you saw the clip.

And don't let Tristan mislead you, all the stuff he dislikes about GOTG is in GOT. Worse, in fact.

I mean, all you really need to do is watch how people react to them. How many people complained about Drax's turd jokes vs. how many people complained about the Martha scene?

Why was my answer of Everyting about Thor in Ragnarok deleted? Because it was a dumb answer that spoke of clear ridiculous bias?

I don't get why he keeps bringing up the Penis line from Ego, as well. I mean, in a show like Star Trek they'd ask a similar question over how he could reproduce.

"SAVE .... MAWR..THA!!!!!"
"WHY DID YOU SAY THAT NAME???"
and shortly after when Lois is on her knees begging Batman for Superman's life was equally unintentionally hilarious in term of very poor characterization and execution.
Also "Is she with you???", "I though she was with you???"
And although i liked WW, the scene where in England after getting period appropriate clothes when Diana is walking to the door with her sword and shield out was dumb.
