If they follow the comic, don't look for it soon. But hey, they serious broke from they comic if they kill off Carl.
At this point, i would feel it best to kill Negan, and bring an end to the series.
I would hate that in a way, because I would like to see it go out during a peak. But there have been no peaks since season 5.

Frankly, getting away from the comic is what this show needs. True. Because Kirkman may continue the comic for years....but clearly the TV show needs to wrap it up. I simply cannot see it going on more than another season. |

Maybe Carl's death will be the beginning of the end of Rick's story arc. Go against the comic and kill off Negan, (like TV Rick promised he would do). Then do a final wrap-up of the "New World" society before Rick checks out. If they want to continue to milk this cow, make it a whole new show post-Rick. It probably wont happen, since they, (AMC), are totally inept at original material.

At this point, the only way I'd keep watching is if they had a massive cull and killed off a load of regulars then Rick, Daryl and a handful of others moved on.
Alexandria ruined this show. There may have been some stinkers before it but at least you always knew they were eventually gonna move on. We've been in Alexandria since SEASON FUCKING 5!
