I always assumed Black Lightning is on a separate Earth, unconnected to Earth-1 and Supergirl's Earth. That is an interesting question if they are going to go through with a crossover episode 'cause I don't recall Vixen ever being mentioned in 'Supergirl' and is on Earth 1 so perhaps it is set in another universe that has different versions of Supergirl and Vixen or instead of being in a different universe 'Black Lightning' is based in the future. Correct me if I am wrong but wasn't Rip's line about seeing 'Men of Steel' and 'Dark Knights Fall' meant to confirm that both Batman and Superman exist on Earth 1 at some point in the future? If so Earth 1 might eventually have a Supergirl too and all the other superheroes that are in 'Supergirl's' universe but 'Arrow' is years before that.

I think it was more of an Easter Egg then confirmation. But then it's really hard to keep track of things on these shows and what does and does not exist on the various Earths in the multiverse. Sometimes I don't think the people behind the scenes even know and are just making it up as they go along.

Well according to the shows Rip referenced Batman & Superman in LOT, RF during S1 of Flash showed amusement at the idea of an actual man of steel, Eobard has infact fought with Superman at some point, in Crisis On Earth X they state outright there are 53 universes which each have their own either versions of each character or version of each hero...so who fucking knows, we do also know in the main Arrowverse timeline Barry is a founding member of...I would assume the JLA but maybe Gideon was going to say the Central City Yodeling Club for all I know.
I thought in BL the superheros from the Berlanti shows are simply comicbook characters but again god knows, one thing I hate about the shows multiverse is how they both limited the scope of it but also piss about with it, that's fine if there are an infinite amount of universe but when you only have 53 can you really afford to piss fart about with them? I'm hoping they reveal the 53 universe's aren't all there are but that each universe can simply connect to say 52 other realms, there are infact an infinite amount of them, so though Earth 1 can connect ot Earth 2, 3, X & Supergirl's earth and they all connect back Kara's earth cant connect to Earth 2 or 3 or but other universe entirely.

Yeah it's amazing how they use a concept with unlimited possibilities and barely do anything with it.

Thanks for letting me know about that. I think it was just an Easter egg and it is unlikely we will see Batman showing up in the 'Arrowverse' anytime soon especially since there were plans to use Nightwing back in Season 3 that Stephen Amell talked about and he was pushing for an actor who was his friend to play him and then it just went quiet and I think Warner Bros told them they couldn't use the character possibly 'cause they were planning on having the 'Titans' show we are only getting now back then. I think it is possible we might see Green Arrow, The Flash and Superman together with the big crossovers they do every year and unless they have blocked them from using Superman on 'Supergirl' they will most likely bring him back at some point and what better than a big crossover episode with all the other superheroes? They could have Black Lightning in the next one if they go through with a crossover with 'Arrow' and Martian Manhunter who I think should have been in the last one. The Multiverse is confusing and what has me confused is where is Power Girl going to come from if they use her like Melissa has said they plans to do. In the comic books she was from Earth 2 but with the earths being different in this show than the comic books Power Girl might be in the 'Arrowverse.'
