Steak! Ketchup on a hotdog tastes YUMMY!! Ketchup does NOT belong on a steak (unless it's overcooked and dried-out), BUT it DOES on a hotdog.

What if you don't like ketchup, at all? I prefer sausages/brats with hot mustard. Steak with horseradish. Our dachsund used to like hot dogs. Yes she did. But Fraulein insisted she was human.

Ketchup on a steak is horrible. That would ruin it for me. A1 sauce I like sometimes. I like ketchup on a hot dog

Ketchup is good for Hamburgers, hot dogs, and French Fries. It's no good for steak, Chicken or Pasta. Oh and an egg sandwich sometimes too

...ketchup on either steak or hot dogs is disgusting...
Light mustard, chopped onion, sliced tomato and piccalilli on a hot dog suffices. For steak, if cooked properly, you don't need any topping.
Ketchup is for French fries...

WHY Do you WANT to COOL them down when they're supposed to be PIPING HOT?!?! Ketchup does NOT RUIN hotdogs it actually makes them better, BUT it DOES RUIN both steak and French Fries. Fries SHOULD ONLY have salt & pepper (with the option of some hot & spicy dry peppers and garlic) NOTHING MORE.

Ketchup and cheese on a hotdog suffices. For steak, if cooked properly, you don't need any topping other than salt & pepper (with the option of garlic and some hot & spicy dry spices IF wanted).
Ketchup is NOT for French fries...

I don't like any food piping hot so I never have them that way anyways.

A lot of times I don't like to put anything on a steak and just get the pure beef taste. Depends on my mood. Sometimes I'll put a touch of A1 on it

Horse radish is pretty interesting. I've never thought about that. I've had that on a philly cheesesteak, so I guess that would work for me on a steak too.

I am okay with both. grew up with simple tastes and not any spice really [not other than oregano/basil in marinara] i did not like A1 steak sauce growing up but I was okay with Peter Luger' steak sauce. now... idk. really don't have steak now.
hot dogs: depends on my mood, what esophagus is in the mood for and what kind of hot dogs we are talking about.
pigs in blankets... have to be ketchup. for some reason, mustard, no matter how mild does not taste good. regular hot dogs: mustard but the yellow kind. sometimes ketchup. if i have sauerkraut no ketchup. jumbo hot dogs at home... cut up like a two year old and dipped in honey mustard Costco hot dogs: the yella mustard and kraut.

I don't like ketchup at all, but I don't think I've even thought of putting ketchup on a steak. In fact, a good steak shouldn't require any condiment at all whatsoever, not even "steak sauce." But ketchup? You're wasting the meat altogether.

Ketchup on a hot dog, you are only ruining a cheap hot dog.
Ketchup on steak, you are ruining a pricier, nicer cut of meat.
