If one is concerned with $, then naturally, you would find a retail store with a boatload of small items that are high priced and fill the cart with those items and then sell them afterwards for a small fortune.
but to put that obvious thing aside, and to make things a bit more interesting, assuming we can't sell the items we get and have to use them (or give them to others we know etc), so basically no exchange for $ whatsoever... I would generally go with some sort of electronics type of stuff or maybe place with a big TV and a bunch of movies on bluray etc. but since we are limited to 5 minutes the movie thing might not work out too well because it would be difficult to find all 179 movies I score a 7 or higher within the 5 min time window but, assuming those movies are on the shelf, I suspect I could likely get a large portion of them since I can move quickly and chuck them into the shopping cart. like off the top of my head, without thinking much about it, Wal-Mart or Best Buy (and the like) seem like good choices overall for electronics related stuff and maybe a variety outside of that a bit.
NOTE: I think some answers in the topic would not qualify if you stick more strictly to the OP's criteria of 'shopping cart' and 'retail store'.
p.s. but like I figured, after I typed up my post, I looked at others and they, naturally, thought of the same thing in that it's all about getting high priced/small items and selling them afterwards for a small fortune as this maximizes ones benefit from only a 5 min shopping spree.

To capitalize on a childhood (and adult) obsession I may have to have my shopping spree in a mega-stocked baseball card store!

I wish Radioshack still existed. I'm tired of not finding items because there's no pure electronics store in my area and forced to go online. Ex. a female USB to male micro USB adapter. Go ahead and search for it, you'll never find one in a store.
And Toys'R'Us.
But if I had my choices it'll be Adorama in NYC for cameras and other electronics, Auto World for model kits, and Dick Blick for art supplies.

......you won a five minute unlimited shopping spree, meaning you got to keep anything/everything you could fit in/on a cart, and wheel out of the store of your choice ? SAVE FERRISAmazon.

If I am allowed to sell the stuff afterwards, then it would be a jewelry store, as others have suggested. If there is some clause in the deal that says that I am not allowed to sell anything (not sure how it could be enforced, but that is another story), then Best Buy. I'd get a large 4K TV, a couple of computers, a new camera, a new phone, a new tablet, and if I had any time left, movies.

If collecting the items for my own use, then currently I would like to be let loose in a high-end shoe store.
