I think it just has to happen. You can't really look for romance. But if you are a romantic type person, then it will happen, one way or another. Being the cynic I am, romance I see as a delusion Mr. Dirty. It doesn't exist. Whatever perceptions we may have or see as romance, is still only fleeting. It is about image of self and not selflessness. Romance is a delusion, but it is one of the sweetest, loveliest delusions to experience. I like it when I am feeling romantic, but that hasn't happened for a while.

Romance is a delusion, but it is one of the sweetest, loveliest delusions to experience. I like it when I am feeling romantic, but that hasn't happened for a while. Yes, who am I to ruin your sweet and lovely delusion of romance Mr. Dirty. It is all imagination, as long as we keep it real too.... Albert Einstein, of all people, said that imagination is more important than knowledge. I love that he said that. Of course, it eventually will become necessary to deal with certain realities. But, I still make it fun. I hate mopping the floors - hate hate hate that household thing that you have to do on at least a semi-regular basis. Cut to the chase, I found a way to make mopping the floors fun. First off, the kitchen floor is marble, so it's okay. I pour a pot of boiling + couple squirts of dishwashing soap - on the kitchen floor, usually I can cover about half of it with this first pot of water. But it does a a good job of covering a certain area and getting to the parts that really need to be cleaned. I wait about two minutes, then put a bath towel down on the part of the floor that has water and I step on the towel and then I just bust a move! I can dance on the towel and vary my dance moves (I was listening to Connie Francis' "Bossa Nova Hand Dance" while doing this. FYI... BNHD is a GREAT song to have playing when you are cleaning your house!! ) This took about 2-3 minutes to get the floor but good. Then I repeated same and got the other half of the floor. More shimmying ensued. I was getting a kick out of it and from beginning to end, it took a total of 20 minutes. And the floor looked, I would say, 88% better, so it was a win-win for me. This is how I will clean the floors from now on. When my roommate walked in, he noticed the floor immediately. Yay! It's all about finding your own way.

when power leads
a man towards arrogance,
poetry reminds him of his limitations.
when power narrows the area of man's concern,
poetry reminds him of the richness and diversity of existence.
when power corrupts
