Hell, maybe the best line in the film is T'Challa talking about 'the illusion of division' and how we should focus on ignoring our differences and resolving issues. Only the most radical of political minds would disagree with this concept. What would the Democrats run on then? The last thing they want is racial harmony and cooperation. Gotta keep them liberals angry! I think the message was aimed at everyone. People from all political persuasions need to stop viewing others as stereotypes and using labels to describe them, and instead focus on recognizing the complexity of another perspective. There is a middle ground if everyone puts forth the effort.

The movie was absolute trash. It was actually one of the worst X-Men movies if not the worst one and that is saying something when X-Men: The Last Stand exists. Even worse than infamously maligned ‘X-Men Origins: Wolverine’? If so, why? It is. That was B movie territory bad, but it was still fun. I can still watch it and be entertained, even if it is an objectively bad movie. Apocalypse is the opposite of fun. It is boring as heck and not even good at all. This is coming from someone who puts X2 and Days of Future Past in his top ten comic book movies of all time.

And mutants don't help because they REFUSE to do anything about it. They refuse to do anything to prove they aren't dangerous, Xavier refuses to work with the Government to do ANYTHING and instead he cloisters kids up like a Cult and have illegal military grade equipment in his school. The X-Men are a bunch of incompetents. In First Class Xavier wants Eric to publicly demonstrate they are peaceful by dropping the missle attack. Eric doesnt and Xavier has to start from scratch. He doesn't "start from scratch", he does NOTHING for the next 10 years! Yes, and this is too little too late. Plus Apocalypse did NOTHING with the idea that Humans and Mutants got along better. You could've taken that whole thing out and nothing would be different.

He doesn't "start from scratch", he does NOTHING for the next 10 years! He builds a school, recruits students but then suffers depression and hits rock bottom. Very harsh to say he wasnt even atleast trying. They taught positively about mutants in schools to young generation so they had positive reinforcement about them and not as the other. We see this in the scene and deleted scene where Scott, Jubilee and Jean are out with Nightcrawler in the mall in full view and they arent treated differently. And Charles feels the time is right to start allowing humans to enter his school and study alongside mutants. But the point was that Mistique knew mutants were still unequal away from the public eye and Charles wouldnt listen to her concerns. The same rings true in today's society with black and muslim people.

He doesn't "start from scratch", he does NOTHING for the next 10 years! He builds a school, recruits students but then suffers depression and hits rock bottom. All off-screen. Total waste, just like the 10 year skip idea in the first place. Lip service. Precisely, DELETED. And that merely highlights the problem of Mutants doing nothing to make things better unless forced into it. MCU X-Men wouldn't have that problem because their humanity isn't as 1-Dimensional as the XCU's Humanity.

All off-screen. Total waste, just like the 10 year skip idea in the first place. You support when Marvel "develops" characters arcs off screen like Thor and IM-Peppers relationship. It shouldn't have been. So basically you want Xavier to be like Stark and completely do a illogical character U-turn and demand Government control in Avenger/Xmen operations when quite clearly both have saved the day numerous times without government assistance. Got it.

]You support when Marvel "develops" characters arcs off screen like Thor and IM-Peppers relationship. Those aren't as bad as 10 year skips for the entire universe. Unfortunately, it was. Not complete control, but at least be willing to work WITH them and do stuff like give open lectures all people are welcome to come hear. Instead of acting like a Cult Leader.

Are you a racist? I am starting to wonder if you are a racist because this is not the only time when you have given black-lead/urban films low scores. You gave the following movies 1/10: Get Out, Boyz n the Hood, 8 Mile... Just asking: Are you a racist?
