It could work. I would love a show where the main character is Lois Lane, especially if their is no Superman to overshadow her. Think Kolchak the Nightstalker but with a hot, feisty woman. What is a Kolchak the Nightstalker? Is that a vampire or a werewolf and hot and feisty? That has my attention. Who are they getting to play Lois Lane this time? It was a TV series that went for one season between 1974-1975 and continued on from two movies called 'The Night Stalker' and 'The Night Strangler' much like 'The Librarians' TV Show continued on to 'The Librarian' movies. It had a second season in 2005 but it was a flop and was cancelled after only having 6 episodes. What is interesting to note is it was said to be the main inspiration for 'The X Files' and that helped the old show and movies get a lot of new fans and they thought they would be able to capitalise on that with a second season but it didn't work out the way they were hoping.

Damn girl. You are a genius. You know something about everything and you’re still amazing me after all these years with the things you know. Did the Night Stalker continue on to The Librarians too?

Kolchack the Night Stalker was a short lived TV series from the 1970s starring Darren MacGavin. It followed reporter Karl Kolchack who encountered a different paranormal menace each week.
It was a major influence on The X-Files.

No. It didn't. They were two separate shows and 'The Librarians' continued on from 'The Librarian' movies and speaking of 'The Librarians' we might be getting a new movie according to Noah Wyle which will continue on from the show and give the story a proper ending and that is great news for fans if it happens 'cause there are a lot of people who were disappointed over it being cancelled and want to see more.

What's The Nightstalkers? I know of Kolchak the Nightstalker
and Darkstalkers
But I have a feeling you're not talking about either one.
