I was one of those fortunate kids raised on Disney, and I don't mean the videotapes--I mean, actually standing in line and waiting to see his newest release. My favorite Disney animated classic is CINDERELLA, followed close behind by BEAUTY AND THE BEAST. Cinderella was the first Disney film I ever saw, way back in 1957, when I was 4 years old. Never forgot it.
I still enjoy their newer stuff. Loved Little Mermaid, for example. But when they start moving into other directions, they lose me. Tarzan? Hunchback of Notre Dame? Those just didn't work for me, especially Hunchback.

Fantasia is my all around favorite.
I could never finish The Little Mermaid.
I agree about Hunchback and Tarzan.

Pinocchio. Because that film is beautiful to look at and goes places few other animated films do, but in a good way.

My favorites when I was really young...
Peter Pan, Pinocchio, and 101 Dalmatians. Then, there were the films released during my childhood that I enjoyed: The Lion King and Aladdin. I also remember liking The Little Mermaid and Beauty and the Beast, but maybe not to the same extent.

My all time favorite Disney movies are The Little Mermaid and Tangled. However, going simply by classics, I've always felt that Bambi is a wonderful and artistic masterpiece that Disney has never been able to duplicate to this day. It's also sadly become underrated these days, much luck all of the original five.

My favorites of the animated films are Snow White and Pinocchio (with a little footnote for the Sleepy Hollow segment of Ichabod and Mr. Toad, which was one of my favorites when little--still is, in fact), both of which I think are in the same echelon with the best films ever made.
My favorites among the live-action films? That's more difficult. Probably a toss up amongst Mary Poppins, 20,000 Leagues under the Sea, Davy Crockett vs. the River Pirates, and Bedknobs and Broomsticks.

My favorite classic Disney animated film is "Sleeping Beauty". I also like "The Adventures of Ichabod and Mr. Toad". For live action I like "Treasure Island", "20,000 Leagues Under the Sea" and "The Parent Trap" with Brian Keith and Maureen O'Hara.

I've had quite a list of rotating favorites. First it was Pinocchio. Then Cinderella. The Great Mouse Detective. Sleeping Beauty. Beauty and the Beast. The Jungle Book. The Lion King. The Aristocats.

All time favorite: Dumbo. Cinderella is a close second, & Pinnochio is third (I remember seeing it in the theater when it was re-released in the 80s (I think it was... could be wrong?).

No, you're right. They rereleased Pinocchio, even though it had already been on VHS. The last time I saw Cinderella at the cinema was in November of 1987.
