It's one thing to clone a dog, because it is a unique mix breed... and it may be the only way to get another, but...
Cloning our Pet Pals, or even humans... It won't be the same.
We acquire memories and experiences through out or lives that make us who we are. Without those, we would be different people.
If you clone "Spot", the pet may look and sound like "Spot", but it wont be "Spot".
As much as I would like to have my dog back, I just don't think I could do that.
I would have this unrealistic expectation for the clone to be just like the original, which could never happen...
And that wouldn't be fair to the clone, and I think it would disrespect the memory of the original.
I would rather just go to to the pound... and make a new friend.
