Will Any Gentleman? 1953. Amusing comedy with George Cole as a mild-mannered bank clerk who gets hypnotised at a music hall and finds his personality entirely changed, leading to great confusion. Jon Pertwee as his ne'er do well brother, and Joan Sims very good as the parlourmaid who George Cole romances while under the influence.

She Played With Fire (1957). Quite interesting drama about an insurance claims investigator (Jack Hawkins) who finds himself investigating a claim that he is personally involved in, a woman he used to be in love with who has married another man who may be up to something dodgy.

a Man for all Seasons (1966). Historical drama about the fall from grace of Sir Thomas More (Paul Scofield) because of his refusal to acknowledge the authority of Henry VIII (Robert Shaw) over the church. Wendy Hiller is particularly good as More's exasperated wife.

For Love or Money (1963). Lawyer Kirk Douglas is hired by wealthy widow Thelma Ritter to get her three daughters married off. Naturally this leads to a lot of complications. Fairly amusing comedy.

Road to Bali (1953). The usual mix of singing, trading of insults, double crossing, and rivalry over Dorothy Lamour. Not my favourite Road Film but it's fun.

That was an odd one and Mitzi's screeen farewell....She's still with us and never done a movie since...

I watched Pulp Fiction for the first time since i was 12 in 1995.
I did not like it when i was 12, and based on memory from how i liked it back than i gave it a 2/10
But after watching it again i rate it 7.5/10.

Clockwise (1986). John Cleese as a headmaster of a comprehensive school who misses his train to Norwich where he is to be chairman of the prestigious Headmasters Conference, which leads to an increasingly chaotic chain of events as he tries to get to Norwich and drags other people into his confused endeavour.

Light Up the Sky (1960). Comedy drama about a British Army Searchlight Squad in WW2. Ian Carmichael as a suave, knowing officer, not like his more usual hapless innocent type roles. Benny Hill and Tommy Steele are among the dis parate group of men who are in the squad. Quite entertaining.

Second Fiddle (1957). Quite entertaining comedy about two people who work for the same advertising firm and are about to get married. The trouble is it is an old fashioned firm which always sacks female employees when they marry. However, the directors decide they wants to hang onto the lady (Adrienne Corri) so they decide to change the rules. So Adrienne Cori continues to work for them, and she and her husband (Thorley Walters), have the usual sort of problems with working and keeping up with household chores etc , and a certain amount of jealousy from Thorley Walters when his wife seems to be doing better than him, and from Adrienne Corri when another female employee is clearly making a dead set at her husband. Naturally all is resolved happily in the end.

ALAN QUATERMAIN AND THE LOST CITY OF GOLD 1986 is not a good movie even by Cannon standards although I give it points for the Raiders-like score recycled form King's Solomon's Mines and the race through the cavern water and the locations. The most notable thing about it besides Henry Silva's hair is how bad Sharon Stone's acting is.

Nell Gwynn (1934). Quaint but quite entertaining film with Anna Neagle as Nell Gwynn, Cedrick Hardwicke as Charles II, and Jeanne De Caselis as the Duchess of Portsmouth, Charles's French mistress.
