Did I disagree with you about her being useless in a FIGHT against Thanos? When did I say she would be the only female character strategizing? I was just listing ways she COULD help. Does everyone have to argue with every damn thing I say on this site? What do you mean, "everyone?" I haven't said a single negative thing to you and you want to drag me into this too? Has it ever occurred to you that you are the connecting problem?

Maybe I'm just tired of being the only Marvel fan here who doesn't hate most of the MCU. The whole reason I haven't bothered even starting any topics about any of the films that have been already released is because I know exactly how they'll all go.
DennisReynolds: Fun film, but I wouldn't watch it more than twice. forbiddenarms: films like this are ruining the genre. All colors must be washed out and grayed and I must be able to smell the clinical depression through the screen! mello: Nothing more than a typical blockbuster. At least the DCEU films are mythic and deep.

Pretentious and sexist, lovely. As if my opinion of you needed to drop even more.

In one other thread you told someone their opinion was "a pile of crap." you should really take a step back and look at what's happening in every thread you post in, and see why that's not happening in threads you don't post in. People can dislike marvel movies, that's okay.

You get that it doesn't have to end with two people expressing different ideas and then never discussing it. Right?

Infinity War is now looking to be the story of Thanos, likely with a significant backstory to build his motivation as the main character of the film. It seems as though the first film will be his journey to collect the stones, or at least most of them, and drawing the heroes we have met together in his wake.
Now I'm saying he will not complete the Gauntlet in the first film for one major reason. We know that Captain Marvel and Ant Man/Wasp will have films between the first Infinity War film and the second, and it seems unlikely that Thanos will be standing around with a completed gauntlet while the events of those films have time to happen. Although, I suppose there is some outlying possibility they happen concurrently with events of that film.
So what is the climax of the first film then?
Thanos arrives on Earth and destroys Vision for the Mind Stone. Obviously a lot of other calamity would ensue, and I will wager he'll already have taken the Space Stone at the end of Thor Ragnorak and been given the Soul Stone I'll say Hela is in possession of. He will then need to get the Mind Stone and travel to either Xandar or Knowhere, or both to collect the last stone at the beginning of the sequel.
The sequel will also be done from the heroes perspective again instead of Thanos, which accounts for the writers having said that the films will have an entirely different feel.
I honestly think it will end in an Empire Strikes Back cliffhanger, with Vision probably killed and the remaining group retreats, maybe we even lose Tony since he's having all of those visions of the apocalyptic future or even the more peripheral characters (like Falcon, Hawkeye, Rhodes). I know the guardians, strange, thor and hulk will appear, but I wonder if they'll save some of them for part 2. maybe only bring in dr. strange to rescue the team.......and yes I know it's not really a part 2, but what....they're going to kill off Thanos in just the first movie?

Yeah I think that is more or less how it has to go. I'm really curious how the end is going to go in order for there to be an Ant-Man and Captain Marvel film in between.
A friend of my suggested that perhaps the Ant-Man film is about Thanos having sent the rest of the team to the Quantum Realm and Ant-Man rescuing them.

Which is why you took the time to reply. Differing opinions have nothing to do with it. What I'm pissed about is that I'm not allowed to express any fondness for what I like without having people like shoot me down.

You could speak up more than DennisReynolds and the others are trashing it, then.

I'm not bothering to start any threads about Marvel because comments from you and any other Marvel fans will be fewer and farther in-between than the DC Holy Crusaders that have taken up residence here. I start something about, say, "Why Ironman 2 isn't as bad as everyone says" and they'll just hound me. I've already had Deni-boy blow me off when I said Ant-Man actually did have some real life themes and issues covered in it and been insulted for liking it.

Also, you don't get to call anyone butthurt when you've already called Marvel fans stupid enough to just laugh at any joke they put in their films whether they're funny or not.

Go ahead and start those threads. See what happens. I wouldn't post in them because I don't care about either of those movies. Not worth discussing. And for the love of God, stop acting like you're such a victim. You realize this is a movie forum, right?

And? Why do you care? Ant-Man does have real life themes and issues covered in the story and characters. You know it. I know it. The movie knows it. It doesn't matter if some people don't see that.
