No. I don't think they can use lightsabers in the Flash but it would be fun to see him with one. What about the force? They could rename it metahuman abilities and it would still be the same. I think they could get away with doing that but I don't think they will give the Trickster powers anytime soon. I do think he will return to the show at some point since Mark Hamill has said he is open to returning again and how popular he is with the fans and it is possible he could have a bigger role next season.

Well Mark might be willing to reappear, but the show runners might be reluctant.

Can the Trickster use the lightsaber? That would be a cool weapon to have on the show. No. I don't think they can use lightsabers in the Flash but it would be fun to see him with one. They could have him looking through a trunk of his "toys" and he finds a lightsaber and makes some quippy remark and go to throw it ala Luke in TLJ but think better of it and put it to the side nicely as a funny nod to TLJ, could even let Mark just go nuts and ad lib it and film a bunch of different versions for shits, giggles and DVD bonus features..

I watched the 90 show (I dont have time for any of these modern superhero shows). It was influenced by the Batman movie so his costume was a felty version of the rubber Bat suit--they also had him called "the Demon" in the news media--that was interesting. He was zipping around like a ghost. He was well cast I thought--speaking of his dog--I remember where they walk by a movie theater showing posters for Superman 78 and Batman 89.
I liked that Mark Hamill was doing a Frank Gorshin impression. My memory is vague on the old show. I remember Amanda Pays and the sidekick characters vaguely..
I haven't seen any of the newer ones. I imagine they could do a lot with him running through cities and bullet time stuff. And I see from the running time its about 10 minutes shorter than the 90 series was!
The thing with Hercules and Xena was that at the time they were the only shows doing any kind of fantasy. The CGI was pretty weak. New Zealand looks nothing like the Mediterranean. But when the first Hercules premiered as a movie within the "Action Pack" (a Midnight Run and Vanishing Son were the other ones) I knew that show would thrive. And I also remember Lucy Lawless standing out from the crowd of amazons in her first Hercules appearance. Xena started off as a villainess on Hercules. Anthony Quinn was Zeus!
I stopped watching it before it went LGBT.
Kevin Sorbo is doing low budget sci fi films out of Utah these days. "Survivor" is one, and some LOTR-type movies. The FX are pretty good actually. Way beyond the old tv stuff.

Kevin Sorbonne seems to have become a conservative nutjob appearing only in religious movies.

Kevin Sorbonne seems to have become a conservative nutjob appearing only in religious movies. So that is where he went to? I can't really say I have seen him in that many roles since 'Andromeda' and his appearance in 'Supergirl' last season as Mon El's Father was the first time I saw him in years. I remember some people thought he was going to go on to become a big Hollywood star after Hercules but his career fizzled after the show much like Lucy Lawless' career and 'Andromeda' was the only other big role he got.

Yeah. That sounds like it would be a fun idea and they could play around with some 'Star Wars' things for the DVD Bonus Features. I am surprised they didn't make some nods to him playing the Joker 'cause many fans see him as the best actor to play the role and were hoping he would play him in a Live Action movie but he thinks he is too old to play him. I think with an older Batman in the DCEU they could have pulled off an older Joker but they went with Jared Leto instead and his Joker doesn't look like he has been around that long which makes no sense since it is set in Batman's later years. Jared Leto's Joker is the worst version I have seen and I would take the version in the Adam West show anyday since he is at least like the Joker.

There's little about the DCEU that makes sense. The films feel like they are barely in the same universe. Too often the films or future plans contradict what's already done, as if there is little oversight into developing a cohesive whole.

Well, it sounds like it is going to get even more jumbled since a number of the new movies they have been announcing lately aren't going to be part of the DCEU and we have 'The Joker' movie that isn't part of the DCEU, Booster Gold (if it goes through) isn't going to be part of the DCEU, Lobo (if it goes through) isn't going to be part of the DCEU and 'The Kitchen' with Melissa McCarthy isn't part of the DCEU either. I also heard 'The Batman', 'Batgirl', 'Nightwing' and 'Birds of Prey' aren't going to be part of the DCEU either and will be part of a separate Bat Universe which I am actually happy about 'cause they won't be tied down to the other movies and the Bat Universe has always been its own thing in the comic books and connects onto a lot of other characters that haven't been in the DCEU movies yet.
