Here is B-17G, Serial# 44-85784, The "Sally B"... Playing the part of the "Ginger Rogers" in the 1981-1982 British television drama: "We'll Meet Again"... There was a real B-17 "Ginger Rogers" in WWII, but, sadly, it was scrapped after the war... In 1990, the "Sally B" would also star in some scenes in the movie: "Memphis Belle" (1990), as the famous B-17F "Memphis Belle"! Half of the aircraft is still in the Memphis Belle livery. Interesting that a year after you posted these photos the planes would still be grounded. I used to see those Southwest ones fly out of Hobby Airport (Houston) all the time. Hopefully they get back into the air soon (and safely).
