All Anthony Hopkins TV movies, especially Guilty Conscience. Others of his: A Married Man, The Tenth Man, The Bunker, and Peter and Paul. I also love Jesus of Nazareth.

I just checked out a few of these TV Movies that Anthony Hopkins was in on his Wikipedia profile page . Surprisingly after all these years I didn't even realize he had been or was in any TV Movies . It looked like an excellent selection of movies too . I agree " Jesus of Nazareth " from 1977 was a most memorable miniseries too . Thanks so much gottaluvafriend for your movie recommendations and reply .

I highly recommend the Hopkins TV movies, especially Guilty Conscience and The Bunker, but all of them really. Hopkins said his career at that time was going nowhere and he was planning to return to the stage in England. Then he got the Silence of the Lambs gig.

I've actually seen Guilty Conscience too. It was like a million years ago, but I remember really liking it. Hopkins was brilliant as usual.

Cool. I've actually seen Guilty Conscience too. It was like a million years ago, but I remember really liking it. Hopkins was brilliant as usual. Guilty Conscience is a movie produced by Richard Levinson and William Link, who were also responsible for Colombo; Murder, She Wrote; Ellery Queen and other successful TV shows of the genre. Hopkins played two parts. It's a personal treasure which I'd love others to discover. As for Langoliers, I liked the movie long before I ended up a serious Stephen King fan.

The Stand novel is way superior to the TV movie. The movie was pretty good, but the book goes way more into character development. It is one of his more lengthy tomes, though.
