This was one of those dreams that just went on and on and on for hours or days within the dreamscape.
I was one of two junior Sith apprentices under the tutelage of Palpatine. The other junior apprentice was unnamed. The senior apprentice was a young (but still very powerful) Plagueis. Except he was human.
In the dream, I did something wrong, so Palpatine was going to torture me as punishment. He called Plagueis over and they made me kneel down. They both then, somehow, "charged" their fists with Force energy and started pummeling me. I was terrified, but for some reason, the blows didn't hurt. When I stood up, I made the mistake of thanking Palpatine for taking it easy on me because it didn't really hurt. He scoffed, "Well, we'll have to rectify that. Only through pain will you learn that I do not tolerate mistakes."
Whatever they had meant to do, they were now going to do it right and I knew I was in for a world of pain. I panicked and ran. Palpatine sent both apprentices after me. The younger apprentice was much more eager to catch me, so as I was running, I had to turn and fight him a few times. I was able to knock him down a couple times and so I kept running.
Plagueis, on the other hand, took his time. He was so much more powerful than I. Every effort I made in my escape, he matched with much more ease and grace. I knew that I had fucked up. Running signified weakness and I knew that when I got caught, I would be tortured to death.
The chase scene was awesome. I was running like an Olympic sprinter and leaping 20-ft fences. At one point, I was even hovering/flying as I turned back to see that Plagueis was gaining on me, his eyes never leaving mine. I was force-pushing things out of the way, somersaulting, etc.
Eventually, I gave up. I knew I could never get away from him. I turned, kneeled on the ground and pleaded for forgiveness. Plagueis was neither angry or laughing. With a straight face he just unleashed Force lightning on me and I crumpled.
As is the case only in dreams, somehow the scene shifted and I was safe. At a bowling alley of all places. Somehow I had recruited a team of slightly Force-sensitive acolytes. There was a kidnapping that we were trying to foil. My team and I ran out into the bowling alley parking lot where some regular soldier-type villains were attempting to stuff this kidnapped person into a van. I was using my Force powers to defeat these guys, but just when the job was almost done, Plagueis showed up again. Tangible fear that I can still feel now that I am awake poured over me. I took off in the van. Plagueis pursued me. His eyes never left mine. He was Force leaping from car to car through traffic (it was like a scene in the Matrix where you have no choice but to run from the agents) and just as he landed on top of the van and started punching his way through the roof, I woke up.
Maybe it's time I change my avatar.
