Love this song! Steve Earle caught hell once for calling Shania Twain the "highest paid pole dancer."

Love this song! Steve Earle caught hell once for calling Shania Twain the "highest paid pole dancer." He called Garth Brooks “the Anti-Hank,” and then said Shania Twain was “the highest paid lap-dancer in Nashville.” In 2001, Country Weekly reported that Earle had a poster of Twain outside his office door. The word “talent” was handwritten on the poster, with an arrow pointing at her belly button. LOL The hardcore troubadour tells it like it is

That song gave me the idea for a story I wrote that's sitting on the hard drive of an old computer. It's about a bootlegger that's the meanest, nastiest, SOB to ever walk the face of the earth. He escapes prison and goes back to what he knows best, while unleashing hell on a small Tennessee town. His only problem: The alcoholic, broken-down, prison guard in the watchtower that missed the shot that allowed it all to happen. That guard killed over fifty men in the Pacific Theater during WWII, and he's got one more to go in order to make things right...
