And then in TLJ, Snoke says Kylo Ren has "Too much of his father's heart" in him.
First, none of this makes sense. Second, which one is it, movie?

The only one who said he had too much Vader in him was Han, and then only one who said he had too much good was Snoke.
Don't take either as absolute statements.

George Lucas: Okay, Darth Vader killed Luke's father....no wait, Obi-Wan killed him....no wait, Vader IS his father...and now there's "another" who is Luke's long-lost sister...it's Leia....the girl Luke kissed and had romantic teasing with. Sounds like fanfic process to me.

No, just that it isn't like his writing process was hardly the absolute perfection you insist the ST be.

It doesn't matter if he wrote it upside down while juggling flaming bowling pins. It's his story. Canonical status is (in all things, particularly in religion -- from whence the term actually originates) determined by authorship. I thought you were at least clever enough to point out that Lucas himself didn't personally write the scripts for Empire or Jedi, but that's irrelevant since they were (a) written at his executive direction and (b) ultimately his projects, financed with his own money, with GL having uncontested final creative control. But your big counterpoint is that the... story evolved over time? So what?

Now it's a thing called fan fiction -- when literal fans of Lucas's work are literally making up their own stories based on his work after the fact. Fanfic, bro. Ain't nothin' wrong with that as long as it's not taken seriously or as canon.

Break it down like that, it DOES sound like fanfic. Saying the ST is fanfic when you can easily do the same to the OT shows that whole term is meaningless.

So you're finally just admitting you hate the ST for existing as, by your criteria, there's no way it couldn't have been fanfic unless they brought Lucas in to write it (an impossibility after the Prequels).

Ha, nice try. I'm "finally admitting" the movies are absolute fucking garbage, and you're a dipshit for defending them to this embarrassing extent. Why don't you, like, go watch a Marvel movie?

Enough to eventually take over.

Enough to eventually take over. Saved them from what? You are out of your depth discussing this stuff with me. I've read all the new canon. And once again, you are talking out of your ass.
