Why are you being so anal about this? WW is an Amazon. There's no logic that says Amazon's should have American accents. like I explained its one of her abilities, what don't you get about it Actually, her power wasn't to gain the accent, but to only know the language. Yes, she would know English, but that doesn't mean she would speak it with an American accent.

I honestly never understood this argument that Wonder Woman speaking with an American accent in other media is because she has the useless ability of "adapting" her accent. Why would that be one of her powers? That sounds like a really dumb excuse to have her be American, and it also wouldn't explain why she would still have an American accent even when she's on Themiscyra with the other Amazons.

Her Power is to speak all languages fluently, she should not have an accent and sound American Why would she need to sound American? English wasn't invented by Americans so if she spoke it fluently she shouldn't be speaking with an American accent. And again you keep skipping over the fact that nowhere in the movies was it stated that she had this ability.

A person from Australia can speak Portuguese with an Australian accent.

You mean on Gal Gadot's part? Then yes you are correct No, on the prior incarnations that made her speak with a generic American Accent. She should've always had some kind of accent to show she's not just a Generic American.

I think she embodies the character well. But as GG said in an interview, "you can't please them all." So there you go...

Her Power is to speak all languages fluently, she should not have an accent and sound American Language has nothing to do with an accent. A person from Australia can speak Portuguese with an Australian accent. if you are fluent in a language then it does. Your example is irrelevant here as you give an example of somebody not fluent in a language

Your example is irrelevant here as you give an example of somebody not fluent in a language Again, following your logic, she shouldn't be speaking modern English, and she most definitely shouldn't have an American accent. English was not invented in America.

No those incarnations are accurate as far as goes. Again I don't get how you think that based I on anything I said

Hope you realize how shallow that reasoning sounds. Actually kind of racist too. She appears American so she must be American?
