I love live albums. You get a choice of five; recommend as many as you'd like that aren't on the list.

If I was to choose my 5 favourite live albums it would consist entirely of Iron Maiden performances, so naturally Live After Death is my top choice. Although Rock in Rio is my personal fave, I must have listened/watched to that at least a thousand times.
Others in this list I loved....
Thin Lizzy - Live and Dangerous Rush - Exit...Stage Left Deep Purple - Made in Japan Judas Priest - Unleashed in the East

I listen to most of those bands on the list, but I just don't have most of those live albums. So I picked Live after death, unleashed in the east, live and dangerous, live at leeds, and live at last. Those I do have

In no particular order:
AC/DC -- If You Want Blood You've Got It: Bon Scott was the epitome of a rock singer and the crowd sound like they're enjoying themselves.
Rush -- Exit...Stage Left: No one knew what to do with two bass drums until Neil Peart came along.
The Who -- Live at Leeds: You can almost vision Townsend windmilling!
Thin Lizzy -- Live and Dangerous: Even if you'd never heard of Thin Lizzy, this LP is a masterclass on how to record a live album.
The Doors -- Absolutely Live: I don't know if I've got the right LP but the part where Morrison punks the astrology woman is hilarious.
