I'm not seeing much discussion or interest for this movie at all. I'm not sure if it's been completely overshadowed by the recent Black Panther and the upcoming Infinity War but the movie is only three months away and I'm just not seeing any hype for it.
On YouTube the trailer for the movie has 11 million views which granted isn't really a lot either.
The last movie was also one of the lesser successes and not one of the better movies so that could be reason why too.
Might not have helped that Infinity War hasn't even showed the characters as being in it. Otherwise yeah it seems a little forgotten about this one.

Hype for it will start once IW is over.

I think Ant-man and the Wasp is suppose to take place before or during Infinity War. So they are away from things. Not all Marvel characters show up in event stories in the comics either. Ant-man is going to show up in Avengers 4 along with Hawkeye, though. And like Power Ranger said, the marketing engine will start up in full after Infinity War.

Disney just started doing promotion for it. I think they're waiting for the Infinity War hype to die down. The hype will come soon.

Why would you expect hype for Ant Man and the Wasp when Infinity War is due to hit theaters and it is the most important movie in the MCU thus far? AMATW is from the same company, same genre, same universe, yet nowhere near as significant and it is being released later. There would be something really wrong if people were taking about it and hyping it up.

I thoroughly enjoyed Ant-Man and the trailer for Ant-Man and the Wasp was brilliant but... one thing at a time!

Surely that Spider-man into the Spider Verse would be the elastic hyped, I'm surprised that's even theatrical.

I have to point out that Deadpool 2 comes out in a month, and there's hardly any hype for that. At least Ant-Man and the Wasp comes out in 3 months, why isn't Fox pushing the marketing for Deadpool 2?

Ant-Man 1 was a film that the final fight took place on thomas the tank engine, if there is no hype, I blame the kids who are now grown up but more kids are born daily.

Maybe people would take you seriously if you typed with proper sentence form, didn't make a spelling or punctuation mistake in every post and ironically call an entire fanbase stupid. You show all the qualities of a troll.

Its the least hyped CBM in 2018 It's a rom-com so nobody gives a shit about it. You said Black Panther would make about $550M worldwide. It made even more than that domestically.
